Here’s a list of cute Pokemon songs and music videos you might want to listen to.
1. Double Trouble
Admit it; Pokémon will never be complete without Team Rocket. These villains never fail to troll the “twerps,” saying the same catchphrase in every region.
Double Trouble is a song that first appeared in the “Pikachu’s Jukebox” Season 1 (Indigo League) and Season 2 (Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands), done by the Voice Actors of Team Rocket (Jessie, James, Meowth and Giovanni), discussing how they will capture the electric Pokémon Pikachu. It’s quite catchy, I say!
2. Natsu Yasumi Fan Club
The Natsuyasumi Fan Club (Summer Vacation Fan Club) is the Japanese opening to the anime short feature Pikachu’s Vacation, sung by the Pokémon Kids and Pokémon Mamas. The short was aired in Japanese theaters on July 18th, 1998 and made its way to North American theaters in 1999.
3. Pika Pika Massai Chu
The song was officially released on July 18, 1998, by Media Factory, Inc. It was used in “Pikachu’s Summer Vacation” as the ending song, where Pikachu and the other Pokémon are enjoying themselves at the beach. There are no official translations, but it is no doubt that Pikachu can sing! Pika Pika!
4. Under The Alolan Sun
The opening theme for Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon’s twentieth season’s English dub and was also used as OST in the series Alola to New Adventure, to When Areas Collide! The animated Alola Generation was aired in 2016 with a greater amount of summer-themed content. The beat of the tune is playful, and the music video comprises charming new Pokémon.
5. Hello! Thank You!
“Hello! Thank you!” is the fifth ending theme to Pokémon Sunday, with the adorable Cleffa, Igglybuff, Smoochum, three Sunflora, and Furret cheerfully dancing on top of barrels. It is a peppy tune about making new friends in the Poképark.
6. Breath
It is the Japanese ending theme for MS021: Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us and was also used as the Japanese ending theme for Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon.
7. It’ll be fine!
This is a song featuring Dawn’s Piplup, which was released on the official Japanese YouTube channel on January 14, 2022, and sung by Dawn’s Japanese voice actress, Megumi Toyoguchi.
8. Together Forever
“Together Forever” was released as one of the songs of Pikachu’s Jukebox during the original series Pokémon: 2.B.A. Master. The song talks about camaraderie until the end of the journey and is particularly related to the series since the story is about the friendship between Pokémon and people.
9. My Best Friends
This song is from Pikachu’s Jukebox in the original series Pokémon 2.B.A. Master; the song is also part of the finale to Pokémon Live, and the English version was used as the ending credits for Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias. A non-lyrical version was also featured in the game Pokémon Puzzle League as the theme song for Blaine, a Gym Leader of Cinnabar Island.
10. Pikachu’s Song
We can all agree that the only true love story in the Pokémon universe is between Pikachu and the well-known condiment, ketchup.
A song about ketchup sung by about a dozen harmonizing Pikachus substituted the usual end credits of the Pokémon X Y Z episode from June 10, 2002, in Japan. They even grew a huge ketchup tree out of the ground at one point! Worthy of being ranked first on the list.
And that’s our top 10 cutest and most uplifting Pokémon music. Which one is your favorite?
