Crazy Cardio. You love competition and to be constantly moving, but running can get a little repetitive. Try signing up for some workout classes at your gym like Zumba, kickboxing, practicing Judo Near Me, and water aerobics. Don’t have a gym membership? Workout DVDs and YouTube videos galore can help you shape up from home. Cardio is all about mixing it up and keeping your heart rate elevated, so get moving!
Yoga. You’d rather stretch than sweat. You want to be a lean machine. Yoga and other low-impact exercises like Pilates, walking, dancing and horseback riding are great ways to get your workout in without going insane. They’re also very relaxing and will leave you feeling energized and ready to take on the world.
Seriously Strong. You aren’t afraid to pick up some dumbbells with the guys at the gym. You want to be toned and fit and know that strengthening exercises are the way to go. After all, you spend all day flexing your brain at school. Determination and persistence are key when you want to lift your way to victory. If you can’t make it to the gym, try power walking with hand and ankle weights. Also, avoid injury with a little cross training. Swimming takes a lot of arm and leg strength, so it helps you tone without so much strain or impact on your body.
