Florists charge big bucks for boutonnieres, but it’s easy (and inexpensive) to DIY one for your guy. Here’s how…
Step 1: Gather your supplies. Here’s what you’ll need:
• a large focal flower of your choice (we used a rose)
• floral wire
• floral tape
• straight pin (not shown)
• scissors or pruning shears (not shown)
Step 2: Use the floral wire to secure the flower and greenery. Trim the stems using a scissors or pruning shears.
Step 3: Wrap floral tape tightly around the stems until the floral wire is completely covered.
Step 4: Insert the straight pin, and you’re ready! You can store your boutonniere in the fridge overnight to keep it fresh.
