With more than 4 million subscribers and counting, YouTube Queen Meredith Foster has life figured out! We asked her to share her secrets on beauty, style, fitness and more…and trust us, we took notes.

On glowing skin…
“One thing I definitely attribute to my newfound glow is adding green superfood powder to my water. It has algae and all these nutrients in it, plus it gives you energy! It has actually cleared my skin up and gives a little warmth and radiance to my skin. I also love to use highlighters. A good highlighter is everything. It really does give you that glow!”

On de-stressing…
“Oh, de-stressing, this is my favorite thing. I find that listening to anyone who has a soothing voice will really calm you down and relieve stress. That can be podcasts, YouTubers, music. Doing that before I go to bed actually helps me fall asleep. I’ve also found that having thought-provoking discussions with friends can be relaxing. Those seem to really help me, as well.”

On a game-changing workout…
“I usually go to the gym about four to five times a week! Sometimes I have leg day, sometimes I do arms and upper body and some days I incorporate cardio. Cardio is very important to my fitness regimen. I also make sure I’m eating a balanced diet. I try to get a lot of lean protein and good carbohydrates, which are great for post-workout!”

On keeping up a healthy lifestyle…
“When you’re busy with school or work, it’s easy to fall off track. I definitely have struggled with that. But, you know, health is not only about physical fitness and how you eat: it’s about mind, body and spirit, as well. It’s so important to set aside time to reflect on your thoughts, and make sure they are positive and self-serving. Make sure you get your ‘me’ time in—take a bubble bath to relax, take a moment to focus on your inner self. Loving yourself will translate to living a healthier lifestyle.”

On goddess hair…
“When I’m using hot tools like a curling iron or straightener, I always start with a heat protectant spray or cream. When I was younger I skipped that step and ended up damaging my hair. You want to make sure you’re not frying your hair!”

On the perfect Instagram…
“Your Instagram should be a reflection of who you are. Post whatever you want to post, as long as it is personalized to you and original! And remember that there is no perfect Instagram; I definitely don’t think mine is perfect. Just be unique!”

On wardrobe essentials…
“Every girl needs a pair of high-waisted jean shorts! There are so many different looks you can create from just that one pair of shorts, whatever the color.”

On staying grounded…
“I always remind myself to live in the present and not let any moment pass me by. I don’t dwell on the past, and I try not to overthink things. Just focusing on the right now is very important to me.”
