Of all of the phenomenal athletes on Team USA in the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, it’s no secret that one of our favorites to watch is 17-year-old halfpipe snowboarder Chloe Kim. You know her as the first woman to win a gold medal in snowboarding in the Winter Youth Olympic Games, and now she has shredded her competition with stunning aerial displays to snag a gold medal in the women’s halfpipe competition at her first ever Olympic Games. And with endorsements already from sponsors like Toyota, Nike and Visa – this phenom is winning more than just gold.
Chloe stopped to chat with Justine about her road to gold, her first Olympics and her family life back home in the U.S. (Let’s just say that Chloe Kim is total bestie material!)
Trying to think of a caption is actually impossible but all I can say is thank you to everyone who’s been there for me since the beginning. I am so grateful to be surrounded by people I love with all my heart and so thankful for my family and their never ending love and support. Glad I could bring home the Gold!! @gettysport
